Hughes Nature Preserve:  Nestled between the White River and the Cardinal Greenway, this urban, seven-acre site is owned by the city of Muncie. Before the previous owners donated title to the city, a permanent Conservation Easement was donated to RTC to ensure that it would remain forever in its natural state. In the above photo, White River flows just out of the picture to the left of the levee. |
