Red-tail Nature Preserve:

Red-tail Nature Preserve was the first land acquisition project that the RTC founders rallied around in early 1999. The project has been an exercise in patience and diligence for our staff. Three of the four phases from the original plan have been accomplished with the construction of the loop and connector trails to the Cardinal Greenway. The 18-acre prairie and native orchid pictured above attest to the natural splendor of this site.
