Tree Planting @ Reber Woods

The food and shelter trees provide to hundreds of species of wildlife make forests critical to a healthy landscape. Help Red-tail Land Conservancy restore a dormant field back into a vibrant wetland forest on Wednesday, April 28 from 10am-12pm at a family-friendly tree planting.

This is an open event, no registration is required. Meet in the parking lot at 10am.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING:

Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. Please wear pants and sturdy closed-toed shoes that you do not mind getting muddy. You must bring your own work gloves, face mask, and shovel. Tools can be shared within groups that arrived together.

PARKING & DIRECTIONS:

Reber Woods is located in Muncie on N. Morrison Road. Because it is undergoing restoration work, it has no on-site parking or drop-off location.

Trinity Baptist Church (5000 N. Morrison Rd) has generously allowed volunteers for this event to park in their lot. Click HERE for driving directions. From the parking lot, there is a 100 yard walk to the planting site.
